The new Michigan gambling laws allow for major websites such as DraftKings to operate in the state on the basis that they partner with these casinos. However, only current casino license holders in the state are able to apply for online gaming licenses, meaning that up to 26 individual sites can exist in the state at once. Included in the legal online gambling Michigan activities were online casinos, sportsbooks, poker sites, and daily fantasy sports.
